Temporary Emergency Aid (ATE) informational guides and forms for members born in 1959 and 1960 are available for download.

Temporary Emergency Aid (“ATE”) is intended for pensioners who have claimed all of their CRPN pension entitlements prior to January 1st, 2012, and who were born between July 1st, 1951 and December 31st, 1961.

It is a means-tested benefit awarded on an application-only basis.

Qualifying members born in 1959 and 1960 can claim payment in 2021.

Interested pensioners must submit an ATE application to CRPN, postmarked by the applicable deadline, along with the following required supporting documents as evidence of their circumstances:

Required supporting documents

  • Completed CRPN form, dated and signed,
  • 2020 notice of tax assessment on 2019 income, dated and signed,
  • Recent individual career history statement (“relevé de carrière”) from France’s basic scheme.

Applicable deadlines

  • If you were born in the 1st half of 1959 or the 1st half of 1960

You must send in your completed application between September 1st and December 31st, 2020, in order to qualify for the 2nd ATE payment (members born in 1959) or the 1st ATE payment (members born in1960).

  • You were born in the 2nd half of 1959 or the 2nd half of 1960

You must send in your completed application between September 1st, 2020 and June 30, 2021 in order to qualify for the 2nd ATE payment (members born in 1959) or the 1st ATE payment (members born in 1960).
