Pensioners: you can work, but there are consequences…

Principle

Claiming your entitlements and payment of your CRPN pension are subject to the cessation of any air crew activity. You cannot work as air crew member and receive your CRPN pension for the same period. If you work as air crew member after claiming your entitlements, your pension payments will be suspended.

WHAT IS COUNTED AS AIR CREW ACTIVITY?

  • Any paid activity as flight or air crew member
  • in the categories of testing and acceptance, air transport, aerial work,
  • in France or overseas,
  • whether in-flight, or exclusively on the ground in simulated flight in the context of instructive procedures (TRI/TRE activity is therefore air crew activity),
  • regardless of the type of contract governing this activity (employment contract, service provision agreement, etc.),
  • whether or not it generates contributions to the CRPN.

ARE YOU CONSIDERING WORKING AFTER CLAIMING YOUR PENSION?

We recommend that you contact us before starting work, submitting a copy of your new contract if possible, to find out its consequences on your CRPN pension. You will therefore avoid receiving any undue amount which the CRPN will have to recover.

HOW WILL MY PENSION BE SUSPENDED?

Payment of your CRPN pension will be suspended for the duration of your resumption of work for continuous periods of activity of 22 days and over, and for 30/22 of your monthly pension for continuous periods of activity of less than 22 days.
